The Review of the 16th China Annual Conference for International Education

 

The 16th China Annual Conference for International Education (CACIE) focusing on “Going Green: Schools, Businesses and Communities” was held in China National Convention Center from October 23 to October 25 in 2015. The 16th CACIE was recognized as an international education platform on the basis of international education development. It aims to addressing the need of cultivating global citizens who have international horizon and are able to melt into development of the world.


The plenary session of the 16th CACIE was composed of keynote speeches and discussions. It provided participants a brainstorming with brilliant ideas that how education contribute to the sustainable development delivered by distinguished guests of CACIE this year, such as Mr. Steven Joyce, the Minister of Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment of New Zealand, Ms. Jan O’Sullivan, the Minister of Education and Skills of Ireland, Mr. Frederik Joost (Frits) Hesselink, the former Chair of the IUCN Commission and Communication, Mr. Zhang Xinsheng, the President of China Education Association for International Exchange.




As the tradition of CACIE, the 16th CACIE still consisted of China International Forum on Education, China Education Expo and Education B2B.

 

China International Forum on Education

China International Forum on Education was a cluster of 30 sessions and 50 events around secondary education, higher education, vocational education, lifelong education and education & ICT. All the speakers shared the opinions on cultivation of innovative talents, campus construction, curriculum provision, education accreditation, etc. It was predicted that there are more than 800 speakers and over 2,500 participants attending this conference.




China Education Expo

China Education Expo (CEE), hosted by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), has been staged successfully for 16 years. As a leading event dedicated to recruitment market in China, CEE continued to provide the direct, authoritative and international platform to meet face-to-face with your target visitors. Last year, CEE toured around Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Shanghai, it attracted nearly 600 education institutions from 40 countries and regions. The amount of students and parents attending this event reached to almost 50,000.




Education B2B

That was the first time for Education B2B to take place with China Education Expo. There were 113 overseas education institutions from 24 countries and 183 domestic education institutions from 23 provinces coming to this exhibition. All the exhibitors were given opportunities to communicate and cooperate.
