Theme: Building Core Competitiveness for Study in China: Challenges, Opportunities and New Trends
Time: October 20, 2017 (Friday) 13:30 - 17:00
Venue: Room 307
As the biggest destination country for study abroad in Asia and the second largest economy in the world, China has become both an important sender and receiver of international students. In international competitions, with the goal of responding to the Belt and Road Initiative and Double First-Rate strategy, challenges and opportunities are associated with enlarging both the overall pool of international students and improving structure of the students’ sources. The international student service is the core ability for building the brand of “study in China” in the international education market. Speakers from national government, international education organizations, universities and companies will share their views and discuss the trends on the key issues related to international student service, including laws and regulations, recruitment system, course development, campus service, informatization construction and job service and internships at this forum.
