Borovskaya Marina Alexandrovna


Marina A. Borovskaya, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia.

Marina Borovskaya is a Russian economist, Professor, Doctor of Economics. Besides being the Vice President of the Russian Union of Rectors and an Associate Member of the Russian Academy of Education, she has written and supervised more than 120 academic papers and teaching publications.

She graduated from the Department of Economics of Rostov State University majoring in Political Economy.

2003 – 2007, Chairperson of the Department of Economics at Taganrog State University of Radio Engineering,

2007 - 2010, Prorector for Economics and Chief Research Officer R&D at the Southern Federal University,

2010 - 2012, Deputy Director, Department of the Russian Ministry of Science and Education,

2012 - 2018, Rector of the Southern Federal University.

Since July 24, 2018, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

Awards and Acknowledgements:

Honored Master of Vocational Training of the Russian Federation. Holder of Presidential Letter of Appreciation, Acknowledgement Letter from the Russian Minister of Finance, and Honorary Diploma Award from the Russian Ministry of Sports.
